A lot of terms get bandied about in the watch business, be it at the retail level or amongst collectors. In my experience it is easy to arrive at a point where one just assumes that whoever you are conversing with is familiar with industry exclusive terminologies, when in fact the exact opposite may be the case. This led me to begin collecting and/or writing definitions to watch terms which I could make available to watch fans to consult at their whim.

It is in this spirit that I present the glossary section. It is by no means complete, and so I anticipate updating it periodically; in fact if you have a definition you feel is left out please feel contact the company. It is my hope that it will prove to be a good learning and reference tool which will prove easy to navigate. Please enjoy!
